About Us
Public Trap Range Near Bel Air, MD
Mack's Cedar Gun Club is Harford County's only trap range open to the public, and no membership is required. We're 1/4 mile off Route 1 in Darlington, Maryland, about 15 minutes north of Bel Air and 5 minutes south of the Conowingo Dam. That's an easy drive from Forest Hill, Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, Rising Sun, Cecil County and southern Pennsylvania. We're proud members of the ATA and MSSA.
Trap Shooting for Every Skill Level
We run five trap houses with reconditioned, voice-activated PAT Trap machines, including singles, doubles and a wobble trap for an extra challenge. Every round comes with a trapper who runs the machine and keeps score, so you can just focus on breaking clays. Whether it's your first time holding a shotgun, you're tuning up for hunting season, or you shoot leagues and registered ATA targets, there's a spot on the line for you. Rounds are $8 and shells are available at the club.
Safe, Beginner-Friendly, No Attitude
Safety comes first on our line, and nobody here expects you to know the ins and outs. If you're new to trap shooting or clay shooting, our trappers and regulars will happily walk you through how a round works, where to stand and when to call "pull." Families, kids who can safely handle a shotgun (with a responsible adult), couples and groups of friends are all welcome. Whether you've been shooting for years or are about to take your first shots, we'll treat you like family and cheer when you break your first clay.
